Forbes School

The Forbes School of Irish Step Dancing has been teaching young boys and girls the art of Irish Step Dancing for the past twenty years. This School has students from the area which includes Boston and the several communities to the south and east of Boston.

The four sisters, Ann, Mary, Joan and Terry have been dancing since they were very young. They have competed in Canada, the United States and Ireland. All four women are married and their children have followed in their interest in Irish Dance and Irish Culture.

Parking is limited - preferred parking is available at President's Place parking garage on Hancock Street and Quincy College Parking lot. Do not Park in the YMCA parking lot - your car will get towed.

The Forbes School of Irish Step Dancing

The School is based in Quincy, Massachusetts and has approximately two hundred students. Recently, dancers from the Forbes School have competed in the "All World" in Belfast, Ireland, the North American Championships in San Diego as well as the New England Oireachtas. Their Ceili Dancers also have been most successful in open competitions.

The primary objectve of the School is to teach that the love of Irish Step Dancing develops an understanding of our Irish Heritage

Siobhan Dunn

Siobhan Dunn was declared first place winner at the New England Oireachtas in 2007
